‘The Humble Crumble’
This whisky was distilled on 12th March 2002 and has been aged for a total of 18 years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrel. Distilled at Macallan distillery and bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS).
Only 197 bottles released.
Nose: Pleasant vanilla, floral, honey, candied apples. The alcohol is very present.
Taste: Big body! With sweet caramel, vanilla cream and toffee. Again, the floral notes are beautiful, with freshly beaten grass and perfume. Spices also appears after a little while. Nice balance.
Finish: Long, floral, with citrus and spices. The sweet notes are leaving room to the floral and the spices.
