A Single Cask Single Malt Islay 25 Year Old Whisky released by Cadenhead’s as part of their Authentic Collection. This bottling was distilled at Ardbeg distillery in 1993, matured for 25 years in bourbon hogshead and bottled by Cadenhead’s at cask strength in 2019.
Only 216 bottles released.
Nose: Very coastal, kippers, brine and seaweed.
Taste: Brine follows through. Rich smoked cheese, stewed fruits and light iodine.
Finish: Burnt embers, faint smouldering smoke and a little creamy.
